Set in 50 acres of woodland on the outskirts of Wroxham, Norwich, Bewilderwood offers a welcome antidote to the commercialism of many theme parks and instead offers wholesome ideals of a childhood full of imagination. There are no rides, no special effects or fast-food outlets – just lots of outdoor fun to be had climbing trees, crossing rope bridges, building dens and hiding out in treehouses. The park is designed by Tom Blofeld, a local children’s author, who has populated the park with magical creatures from his books.  There are craft activities and seasonal events such as Halloween lantern parades and Easter egg hunts.
